Global Mobility Strategy for Equity Award Holders. Our client collaborated with us to (i) quantify the potential trailing tax liability exposure associated with stock plan participants who are internationally mobile, (ii) develop a highly practical "game plan", and (iii) identify both short and long term operational and policy enhancements that can be implemented with available resources. 

Equity Compensation Training. In preparation for a major program change for their broad-based equity compensation program, our client engaged us to develop a customized training courese designed to equip their HR organization with the knowledge necessary to respond to a wide range of questions from their worldwide employees.  Our service included developing a comprehensive equity plan "manual" and conducting a full day of on-site training, which was followed by a half day of "role playing" exercises.

Equity & Cash Incentive Grant Guidelines.  In collaboration with Thomas E. Shea & Associates and our client, we conducted a competitive benchmarking analysis of equity grant and long-term cash incentive values, developed a new annual grant guidelines

Modeling tools to manage share burn-rate and equity expense budget.  We developed Excel-based tools to help our clients manage their annual equity grant budget and track share burn-rate throughout the year.

Stock Plan Vendor Search & Transition Services. Our client partnered with us to evaluate their plan administration needs, and collaborated with us to complete an extensive vendor search that covered the full spectrum of plan administration arrangements, from in-house administration using licensed recordkeeping software to full outsourcing service configuration.

Cross-border Stock Plan Transaction Process Improvement.  Our client, the US subsidiary of a global technology company headquartered outside the US, tapped into our global brokerage and stock plan outsourcing expertise to improve plan operations involving the issuance and trading of foreign ordinary shares. 

Global RSU Program Design & Rollout Support.  Faced with the challenge of designing and rolling out a new RSU program to key employees in over 20 countries on a highly accelerated time table, our client engaged us to work alongside their highly capable in-house compensation team and their outsourcing service provider to help meet their aggressive deadline.  Our extensive international equity plan design and operational expertise, and intimate knowledge of Fidelity's stock plan platform enabled our client to make informed plan design decisions quickly which lead to a successful (and timely) roll out a new Global RSU program.  Our service included evaluating the feasibility of several design elements and RSU award features.   

Employee Communications.  We developed highly effective participant communications for US and non-US participants to successfully communicate a major change in our client's equity-based long term incentive program changes, and to promote increased utilization of our client's globally offered Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Cash-Based Unit Program Design & Implementation.  Leveraging our worldwide resource nework, we designed a cash-based unit program for our client's non-US employees in selected countries where the use of company shares would create cost-prohibitive legal expenses,including China. Collaborating with our strategic partners, we designed and implemented a cash-based unit program that helped out client avoid the costly SAFE filing in China while retaining the benefits of equity-based long-term incentive awards.
